Humans are afraid of demons. I'm a Devilman.. half human and half demon. Back home in my realm, demons are fusing with humans and killing them that way.. absorbing their strength and power.. their consciousness. They merge with others until they become strong.
The demon that merged with me couldn't kill me, though. Instead, I inherited his powers and body.
